BC is home to Canada’s largest forestry industry, and Chamco is proud to assist local forestry companies with their industrial pump needs.
We recently installed two Cornell Redi-Prime Pumps for a forestry company in BC due to the fact that their original pit pumps were located underground, requiring very cumbersome maintenance and repairs.
The two new heavy-duty, solids handling pumps are mounted above ground, replacing the two pumps that were installed in the dry pit below ground.
The new pumps are used to recirculate hot water used to soak logs before they are manufactured into veneer. The pumped water has lots of wood debris in it, which is now being effectively handled by the new pumps.
We’re happy to share that the new 5000 GPM pumps with 125 HP TEFC motors are working very well, and it’s now much easier for the maintenance team to monitor and work on them.
