CASE STUDY
How Chamco Helped Two Oil & Gas Companies Protect Their Assets for Nearly Half the Cost of Traditional Foam Systems

Project Background
In 2024, two major North American oil & gas companies needed to install fire foam protection systems for various new sites across Western Canada.
After previously working with Chamco for traditional fire foam systems on larger sites, both companies returned to explore our fire protection solutions for small sites with limited budgets.
The Challenge
Chamco was tasked with providing complete fire foam protection systems that would overcome several significant challenges while maintaining regulatory compliance and safety standards.
Why the Oil & Gas Companies Chose Chamco
Both companies had long-standing relationships with Chamco, having purchased traditional fire foam packages, fire pumps, and air compressors for other sites in the past. When faced with these new challenges, they turned to Chamco, knowing they would receive expert guidance rather than just standard solutions.
Unlike several other bidders who simply proposed the traditional fire foam systems despite the constraints, Chamco took the time to understand the customers’ unique needs and introduced them to an innovative solution.
The two companies appreciated Chamco’s technical expertise, product confidence, and commitment to educating them on the new technology.
The Solution
After carefully evaluating the site requirements, Chamco proposed the FireDos foam system, a purely mechanical, water-driven solution that offered an innovative alternative to traditional fire foam systems.

The Results

Chamco successfully designed and built the FireDos packages to meet all customer requirements, delivering systems that were cost-effective, space-efficient, low-maintenance, and code-compliant.
Both oil & gas companies were so pleased with the solution that they are now considering FireDos systems for additional sites.
These projects demonstrate Chamco’s ability to develop tailored solutions that precisely meet customer needs while continuing to lead the way in advancing fire protection technology.
