Never underestimate the power of a good backup pump system!
Chamco recently completed this effluent diesel pump package for a pulp mill on Vancouver Island. Since the mill experiences several power outages every year, the pump package is being installed as a back-up to the mill’s electric effluent pumps. Continuous operation prevents effluent pump build-up that can result in environmental issues.
This package comes equipped with a stainless steel 2-stage vertical turbine pump rated for 14,000 gals per minute and powered by an 875 HP C27 Caterpillar engine.
