The First Parker MXLE Installation in Canada
Chamco recently completed the first Parker MXLE installation in Canada!
Last year, one of our customers was experiencing major challenges with their Heated Blower Purge dryer. Their plant was recently built in 2017 and there were some major components that were overlooked:
- The environment was very harsh and there are lots of contaminants in the air.
- Their dryer was undersized by 13%!
What did we suggest to solve this?
We upgraded the dryer for proper sizing to an MXLE108. One bank is rated for 20% more capacity than their previous unit! They also wanted a second bank to have 100% redundancy and to allow the units to operate in eco mode.
As purge air was not considered in the equipment sizing of the facility, we chose to provide the most efficient dryer available to make sure their backup compressor did not kick on. The MXLE only purges a true 2-3% of dryer capacity!
