Chamco on the Leading Edge of Pump Installations
Did you know that one of the leading causes of pump failure is improper installation? A poor installation can have a number of causes, including the design of the pump base, improper securing of the pump base to the foundation, motor misalignments, and improper assembly practices.
At Chamco, we strive to be on the leading edge of technology and training when it comes to the best practices for installing pumps and rotating equipment.
Check out this installation where we recently completed the final alignment of a 250HP Morris Pump motor for a municipal application. To ensure we are using the best equipment and best practices, we worked with the local Pruftechnik rep to trial and train our technicians on the newest laser alignment gear – right on site!
