Cornell Pump recently announced that 23 models of their clear liquid pumps have been certified to meet the NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 certifications for lead content, which is now required by most government agencies for all new water treatment and distribution equipment. Designed for potable water applications in industrial plants, these Cornell pumps can be used to transfer water from rivers, wells, and reservoirs to factories, where no lead content can be added, as well as to pump treated or pre-treatment waste streams out of factories, without introducing lead into the watershed or municipal treatment facilities. Additionally, the certified pumps can be used in applications where pack liquid is required to meet lead-free standards. You can read more about Cornell NSF certification here.
If NSF/ANSI 61 compliance is required for your next project, please contact Chamco or your territory rep for more information!
